1. How often should I change my oil?
The first authority you should consult is the manufacturer’s manual for your vehicle. Different vehicles have different maintenance needs, especially with recent advances in automotive technology that have pushed some newer cars’ oil change intervals to once every 3 to 6 months.
2. How much to repair brakes?
Brake repair costs can vary depending on what is necessary to repair them completely and properly. Each vehicle’s needs are unique. Some will require the replacement of multiple brake components, whereas some will only require pads and resurfacing of the rotors. It is best to take advantage of the free inspection provided by Marco Auto Services and discuss your options with the technicians.
3. How do I know if my battery needs servicing or needs to be replaced?
Here are some signs to look out for that indicate a failing or weak battery:
- Dim headlights: If you notice that your headlights are dim or other electrical components have slowed down, feel free to bring your vehicle to Macro Auto Services.
- Needing to press on the gas pedal to start: If you need to step on the gas to start your car, there is most likely a problem with your battery.
- Your vehicle’s battery light turns on: While this could also mean there is a problem with your alternator, your car’s dashboard light turning on most likely means there is an issue with your battery.
